This 6 Nights and 7 days long tour, will be full of exploring some of the most iconic, historic monuments of India while having a blissful time witnessing the beauty and charm of the City of Lakes, Udaipur.

 

Jaipur

Quite famous as “The Pink City” or “The City of Victory”, Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and also one of the most cherished tourist destinations in India. Known for its hospitality and rich, traditional culture, the local people of Jaipur, deemed as Jaipurites, always embrace tourists and travellers with an open heart and serve them generously.

Besides the flavoursome Rajasthani food, you can’t miss exploring the Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal and the Jal Mahal.

 

Agra

“The City of Taj” offers a plethora of attractions to travellers, making it one of the most visited places by tourists and travellers in Rajasthan. It is located on the right bank of the Yamuna River.

The local Agra is packed with narrow, crowded streets full of colourful shops selling handmade artefacts, Mughal inlay on marble, authentic leather goods and mouth-watering delicacies.

 

Delhi

The capital city of India never falls short to feed the travel bug of the tourists by offering them to visit some amazing, historical monuments. Famous among them are the Qutub Minar, Red Fort, the famous Jama Masjid and India Gate.

Moreover, it is also a paradise for foodies, with its local streets serving the “Real taste of India” to the travellers.

 

Udaipur

One of the most preferred wedding destinations, the “City of Lakes” or the White City, was formed by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1558 and was the historic capital of the Rajput Kingdom of Mewar. This “Romantic city of East” offers a vibe emanating peace and positivity to all the travellers and tourists who come to explore Udaipur.

Itinerary

After arriving in Delhi, you will be taken to a hotel.

Overnight stay in Delhi.

After having breakfast, our travel guide will come to receive us at the hotel lobby.

The entire day will be devoted to sightseeing in Delhi.

The following monuments would be covered for sightseeing:

  1. Qutub Minar: The tallest standing Minar in the world with an astonishing height of 238 feet. It is also known as the “Victory Tower”.
  2. Raj Ghat: A memorial dedicated to the “Father of Nation”, Mahatma Gandhi, and is famous as the spot of his cremation or the last rites.
  3. Laxmi Narayan Temple: Located in the heart of West Delhi, Birla temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi.
  4. Jama Masjid: Located in Old Delhi, this 3 centuries-old religious monument built by the Muslim emperor Shan Jahan, is one of the largest Mosques in India. After visiting Jama Masjid, we will explore the streets of Old Delhi on a rickshaw.
  5. India Gate: It is a standing memorial to 84,000 martyrs of the British Indian Army during the first world war.
  6. President House and Parliament: Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India.
  7. Akshardham temple: BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham temple has been proclaimed as the world’s largest comprehensive Hindu temple by the Guinness Book of World Records.

End of Delhi sightseeing tour.

From here onwards, journey to Agra, the glorifying City of Taj.

On arrival in Agra, check-in to the hotel.

Overnight at the hotel.

Early morning visit to the famous Taj Mahal of Agra.

Taj Mahal sightseeing will be followed by breakfast at the hotel and then check-out.

From the hotel, we will steer towards witnessing the Agra Fort.

This was the residence of the Mughal Empire and is currently a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Post, a visit to the Marble Art Inlay Factory to get a live demonstration of the famous and beautiful Inlay art.

After exploring Agra, journey to Jaipur.

En route to Jaipur, we will have a stopover at Fatehpur Sikri.

We will also get to see Buland-Darwaza, one of the largest gateways in the world.

The journey to the “Pink City” of Jaipur will continue.

Overnight stay at a hotel on arriving in Jaipur.

After breakfast, we will start our Jaipur sightseeing.

We will be exploring the following places:

  • Amber Fort: Located in the heart of Jaipur, surrounded by the range of Aravalli hills.
  • Jal Mahal: On our way back from Amber Fort, we will stop to have a look at the Man Sagar lake, known as Lake Palace.
  • Jantar Mantar: A UNESCO World Heritage site, it is also called an Astronomical Observatory. It is a standing illustration of Ptolemaic positional astronomy.
  • City Palace: The residence of the Royal family of Jaipur and the pride of every jaipurite, City Palace was the ceremonial and the administrative seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur.
  • Hawa Mahal: Hawa Mahal is one of the tallest monuments without a foundation. It is also known as the Wind Palace.
  • Shopping in the local Bazar of Jaipur.

Overnight stay at the hotel

Post breakfast, Journey to Udaipur, the City of lakes.

En route to Udaipur, a stopover at Pushkar to visit Pushkar lake.

Pushkar lake is a sacred water body for Hindus that offers sacred baths to pilgrims pouring from different parts of the country.

The journey to Udaipur will continue.

On arrival, check-in to the hotel.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Breakfast will be followed by Udaipur sightseeing with our local guide.

We will be exploring the following gems of Udaipur:

  1. City Palace of Udaipur: One can’t miss visiting this amazing place if he/she is in Udaipur. Its beauty and architecture leaves every traveller spellbound.
  2. Fateh Sagar Lake: It is situated in the northwest province of Udaipur. It was named after Maharaja Fateh Singh of Udaipur and Mewar.
  3. Lake Pichola: This freshwater artificial lake was created in 1362 A.D and was named after Pichola Village. Standing at the shore of Lake Pichola and observing its crystal clear surface will be a lifetime experience.
  4. Jag Mandir: This palace is built on one of the islands surrounding lake Pichola. It served as the summer resort for the royal family of Udaipur where they used to throw parties.
  5. Sahelion ki Bari: This beautiful park offers a glamorous view to visitors. It is decorated with a Lotus pool, elephant statues carved out of marble, and sparkling water fountains.

We will leave for Delhi after having breakfast.

On arriving in Delhi, our driver will drop you at the international airport.
